A Few Important Pool Rules:

  1. Swim Suits are required. Only clothing that is intended for swimming is allowed into the swimming pool. No underwear allowed in the pool, under swim suits or as swim suits. This is important for the cleanliness and hygiene of our Swimming Pool. Different fabrics can bleed dye, and shed material that compromises our pool chemistry, disinfection process, and pool cleaning equipment.
  2. All patrons are required to rinse off prior to entering the swimming pool. Hair care products, skin care products, skin particles, sweat, etc can compromise the cleanliness of the water, especially on heavy usage days. Do your part shower off.
  3. Only drinking water is allowed on the pool deck, all other beverages, snacks, and refreshments must be enjoyed outside on the patio, or inside the lobby. This is important for the cleanliness and hygiene of our pool. No glass containers are allowed at the Soledad Pool. No alcohol.
  4. Long and medium length hair is required to be held back in a braid or a bun. Loose hair wraps itself around equipement, pumps and motors, and can impede breathing.
  5. Persons having currently active diarrhea or have had active diarrhea within the last 14 days will not swim in the swimming pool. This is a health and safety concerns for the entire pool community.
  6. Children under 48 inches must have an adult accompany them into the pool facilities at all times. An adult may enter the water and stay within arms length of the child at all times in the large pool. In the small pool an adult must provide careful supervision of the little swimmer.
  7. All deepend swimmers must pass a swimming test. If the swimmer cannot pass the swim test they may not enter the deepend even with an adult.
  8. Floatation devices and toys are allowed in the pool during family swim and private pool parties only, and only in the shallow end. Those children wearing lifejackets, or water wings must be within arms length of an adult at all times to ensure their safety.
